| The museum suggests the following excursions: | ||
1. A pedestrian walk ‘To the
poet of the poet’ (Solnechnogorsk - Tarakanovo - Shakchmatovo). 2. ‘The Block’s Shakchmatovo’ - the excursion around Shakchmatovo. The visitors are shown the reconstructed outbuilding, the estate house which has been reconstructing nowadays, wonderful park. 3. The exposition ‘A.A.Block. Some glimpse of his life and creative work’. A collection of authentic exhibits and things is presented at the exposition alongside some copies: books, photographs, manuscripts and other valuable museum items. 4. The exposition ‘To live in Shakchmatovo and to die on the stage...’. This exposition presents the audio-video program. The program demonstrates pictures of the owners and the guests of the estate, the pictures of Shakchmatovo and its surroundings depicted by Block and his contemporaries. A phonogram suggests the reminding of the poet’s friends and relatives. Music of M.Kuzmin composed for Block’s drama ‘Carrousel’ accompanies the show. We invite everyone who likes poetry and wants to see ‘The Russia of Block’ exposition, to visit our museum in Tarakanovo and Shakchmatovo. The expositions are open daily, except Monday, from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m. How to drive: from Moscow, Leningradsky railway station to Podsolnechnaya station, then - by bus # 24 to the village of Tarakanovo.
