Under the aegis of the ‘Museum and children’ program a special exposition was created at the museum of Solnechnogorsk specialized school # 1. It was created in the genre of a ‘school museum’ and serves as a kind of ‘training aids’

connected with the school course on literature of the beginning of the 20 century, and in particular with the destiny and creative work of A.A.Block. It is addressed to the high school students, teachers and school guests.

    The dates connected with A.A.Block has become now widely celebrated in Moscow region, to be more exact - in Shakchmatovo. Since 1970 the venerators of Block’s poetry come here on the first Sunday of August. Poets, writers, actors, the creative groups recite poems. The poetry festivals are widely covered

in mass media - newspapers, radio, TV.
    Every August the expositions of new items have been opened at the museum.
    Since 1996 on the day of the poet’s death - the 7^th of August - the expositions and meetings have been carried out at the publishing house of ‘Nashe nasledie’ magazine (Moscow).
